After learning my hard drive with all my engagement sessions on it went missing (it's around here SOMEWHERE, but having moved almost yearly for 5 years, I have no idea where in my storage unit it is), I put a call out in one of my favorite Facebook groups asking for willing models. Leslie messaged me, saying if I was ok with old people, they'd be more than willing to model. (Silly 25 year old woman!) Having met Leslie before and connected with her as a friend, I was super excited to take her up on the "old people" photographs. ;)
I knew these two were perfect to try out the prompts I'd purchased from the Beloved Collective. Leslie mentioned she was "awkward" in front of the camera (aren't all photographers?) and Shannon was very clear that he only came because he felt bad I'd lost my photos. But by the time we were done, those two were all smiles and you'd never know they weren't naturals in front of the camera.
Seeing these two together and watching them laugh, joke, and shed a tear or two (TOTALLY my fault. I take all the blame there.) really warmed my heart. They successfully blended their families and built a love like none other.
Shannon + Leslie,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming out and joining me last week. Your love gives me hope for my own. Stay snuggly you two, and make out a lot. ;)
xoxo,
Markie
