Why wedding photographers are cooler than James Franco
Let's face the facts. Not everyone get's to be the super bad ass actor that James Franco has become, while still keeping a swoon worthy smile.
It's highly unlikely that anyone is going to cast your wedding photographer in a Pizza Hut commercial or as the panty-dropper, bad boy, James Dean. But even dreamy James Franco doesn't hold a candle to a wedding photographer on your big day. Here are 5 reasons wedding photographers are cooler than James Franco:
Reason 1: Super strength
Lugging that camera equipment all over the place leads to super muscles.... And a desperate need to tighten the bolts on household appliances to prevent unnecessary breaking of said appliances. This article may be humorous but the 40 lbs of camera gear weighing down the back of my Subaru Outback is all serious business.
Reason 2: Enhanced awareness
They pay close attention to details around them, capturing split second moments and candid memories. You won't catch them dodging bullets, but you might see them sneaking around behind a bride and groom as they chat with their new family during the reception. This enhanced awareness is also good for zombie hunting and survival skills.
Reason 3: Unscripted humor
Do you have an uncle who can't keep his dirty jokes to himself? Don't worry, wedding photographers can diffuse awkward situations by making them more awkward with their own twisted sense of humor. Who's in the market for left and right socks? No one? Also, why I wrote this ridiculous article.
Reason 4: The steamy kissing scenes
Ok, so a lot of us would love to kiss James Franco, probably more so than you'd want to kiss your photographer. But wedding photographers can set up those steamy moments between you and your partner. And while your wedding photographer is cooler than James, I'm willing to bet you think your partner is much hotter.
Reason 5: No need for a stunt double
Falling off a step ladder? Check. Tripping over a divot in the dirt? Check Check. Spraining an ankle and still completing the wedding? Triple check. There's no need to get your wedding photographer a stunt double; we do our own stunts. Just.... maybe keep some fireball and ice packs on hand. You think I'm joking? A wedding party cheered for me once.... because I tripped but didn't fall on my face. That's talent right there.
All that aside, even this wedding photographer still loves James Franco. He just can't handle this wedding photographer awesomeness though.
