I'd been looking forward to this wedding for months.
Having met Angel & Shanti through friends, I was able to spend time really getting to know them before their wedding. I have to say, they are one of the most adorable couples I've ever met. The love they have for each other really shines when you see the two of them together.
Saturday morning started out early and the storms loomed over the venue creating some pretty amazing clouds. Unfortunately due to the storms, the wedding planner and venue coordinator worked with the bride to move the ceremony inside the tent. We spent most of the morning in the bridal suite while the gals got ready and had a good time enjoying each other's company.
The ceremony started at 1:45, only a few minutes behind schedule. Watching Shanti as he saw Angel for the first time brought tears to my eyes. The ceremony was beautiful and getting to witness Shanti marry his Viking Princess Angel was one of those moments most people long for. The celebration continued with dancing, yard games and even some sunshine that came out to join us.
Angel & Shanti, May your days together be many and your nights apart be short. Wishing you the very best in your journey together. Much Love, Markie
