If you're going more traditional, and want to forgo the first look, that is completely up to you. Below are my suggested timelines for wedding days that don't have a first look included in the timeline.
The 3:30 pm Ceremony, 4 hour elopement - This is probably the quickest and simplest timeline ever. However, it's VERY IMPORTANT that things run on time when you're working with such a tight schedule.
2:30-2:45 pm: Bride arrives with Hair & Makeup finished, Bride getting ready photos (staged hair & makeup shots, shoes, jewelry & dress)
2:50-3:05 pm: Groom getting ready photos (Tux/Suit, shoes, cuff links, buttons, tie, boutonniere)
3:10-3:25 pm: Bride hides, Guests are seated, Detail shots for Ceremony & Reception Spaces shot
3:30-4:00 pm: Ceremony, Followed immediately by Just Married Portraits
4:10-4:45 pm: Bridal Party & Family Portraits
4:50-6:10 pm: Reception Activities
6:15-6:30 pm: The Exit (Real or Staged)
The 2:30 pm Ceremony, 6 hour half day w/First Look - The extra 2 hours can allow for a bit more leeway in your timeline and less possibility of missing something important.

The 2:30 pm Ceremony, 8 hour day w/First Look - Adding in a few more hours allows for hair and makeup to be completed on site.
12:00-1:00 pm: Bride arrives, hair & makeup completed on site, Bride getting ready photos (shoes, jewelry & dress)

4:10-7:30 pm: Reception Activities
7:40-8:00 pm: The Exit (Real or Staged)
The 1:30 pm Ceremony, 14 hour day w/First Look - Adding in a few more hours allows for hair and makeup to be completed off site at a separate venue, as well as allows for any travel time between venues.
8:00-11:00 am: Bride arrives, hair & makeup completed off site, Bridal Party downtime
11:10-11:30 am: Travel from Salon to Venue

2:20-3:30 pm: Bridal Party & Family Portraits
3:40-4:00 pm: Travel to Reception Venue
4:10-5:00 pm: Reception details shot, Guests mingle
5:10-9:30 pm: Reception & Events
9:40-10:00 pm: The Exit (Real or Staged)
Be sure to remember other factors that may or may not impede your time when creating your wedding day timeline: Traffic, travel between venues, additional portraits that you must have, etc. The best way to create a wedding day timeline is to talk with your vendors and coordinator to see what they would suggest as a general timeline.
